CASTLE HILL COUNTRY CLUB

Located next to the hotel, Castle Hill Country Club is an 18 hole Group 1 Championship Golf Course set on a magnificent 167 acres. Established in 1950, the Club has hosted major tournaments in the past including the Australian PGA Championship, the Cannon Challenge and more recently the IC Frith Pro-Am. With some long par four holes and the well-guarded threes, it is a stern but fair test of golf.

The Castle Hill Country Club is the ideal venue for your Corporate Golf Day and is considered a leader in providing corporate golf facilities. Novotel Sydney Norwest guests are welcome by appointment.

Set up in the 1920s to protect these unique animals, at Koala Park Sanctuary you can walk at leisure through 10 acres of lush Rainforest, Eucalypt Groves and Native Gardens. Take photos with the koalas, hand-feed kangaroos and meet a variety of other native Australian wildlife including Wallabies, Dingoes, Wombats, Echidnas, Emus, Possums, Penguins, Flying Foxes and a large collection of Australian Native Birds. About a 20-minute drive from the hotel, the Park is open 7 days from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

ROUSE HILL ESTATE

A 10 minute drive takes you to one of Australia's most culturally important historic properties, not only for its artifacts, furnishings, buildings and gardens, but also because it is the most complete document of continuous family occupancy of a country house in New South Wales.

Rouse Hill was established by Richard and Elizabeth Rouse in 1813 and has been in use by six generations of the one family. You can explore the remaining 13 hectares, its stables, summerhouse and outbuildings as well as the Georgian house. Due to the fragile nature of the estate, access to the property is by guided tour only and bookings are essential.

CASTLE TOWERS SHOPPING CENTRE AND EVENT CINEMAS MOVIE COMPLEX

A significant icon in the Hills District, Castle Towers Shopping Centre is nestled in the heart of nearby Castle Hill. The three level complex features David Jones and Myer department stores as well as Target, Kmart, Coles and over 310 specialty stores including 120 fashion and fashion accessory stores. There are stylish outdoor restaurants featuring many superb dining venues in The Piazza, open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
